Executive/Leadership Development

No longer will employees follow blindly! The contemporary workforce is very independent with commitment based on inclusion. Leading this diverse workforce requires skills and attributes far different from earlier generations. Today, to be successful, you must be an effective leader!

Our Executive Coaching Process develops a pragmatic plan of action through consultation, assessments, and collaboration to develop effective leaders. It is designed to examine and encourage the practice of new behavior, new techniques, and new skills to lead effectively. One-on-one sessions are utilized, either face-to-face or over the telephone. The process:

  • Uses information about an individual's managerial style to develop a pragmatic plan of action.
  • Transitions the traditional managerial style to a more effective style for today's changing work environment.
  • Assists managers and individuals in seeing, understanding, and acting on circumstances that undermine effective teamwork.
  • Uses several methods, assessments, and exercises depending upon the individual and organizational needs.

  • Establishes goals and objectives.
  • Provides ongoing feedback sessions for support, encouragement and guidance with the ultimate objective of acceptance of responsibility and willingness to take risks for continuous improvement.

  • Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

"...Emotional Intelligence is the sine qua non of leadership. Without it, a person can have the best training in the world, an incisive, analytical mind, and an endless supply of smart ideas, but still won’t make a great leader." —Source: D. Goleman, "What Makes a Leader", Harvard Business Review, 1998p

We know that Emotional Intelligence is empirically linked to superb job performance. It relates directly to success in life. It is a critical component to a leader’s success.

Unlike IQ and Personality, which cannot be changed, Emotional Intelligence is physiologically based and can be raised. With over 25 years of study the empirical data is clear, organizations and individuals who demonstrate high proficiency in EQ consistently place at or above the top 10% of competitors and peers in work performance. Greater work performance, improved retention rates, significantly higher ROI, superior decision making, are all well documented results achieved through raising Emotional Intelligence. Our work with EQ extends well beyond studying and training; we have coached individuals to raise their EQ as well as helped successful companies infuse EQ competencies throughout an organization’s culture. Coaching is integral to effectively raising Emotional Intelligence, our process:

  • Assesses one’s EQ using validated tools identifying those competencies for development.
  • Provides meaningful and insightful information to form a solid knowledge base.
  • Coaches through discussion, feedback and exercises.
  • Utilizes the components of Peak Performance as a model for Emotional Intelligence.

As always our coaching is individualized and adjusted for maximum results.
